DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Georgetown Library are pleased to announce our November Tuesdays With… on November 21st at 10:00 am. It will feature a presentation by Paige Sawyer\, Georgetown historian\, photographer\, and veteran. The title of his presentation will be “Unapologetically American\,” a topic especially relevant in the month of November when we recognize our veterans and express our thanks for the blessings of our nation. \nDue to the continuing construction at the Library\, we will be meeting in the Winyah Auditorium at 1200 Highmarket Street (one block south of the Georgetown Library). \nPlease reserve the date on your calendar and plan to join us.

DESCRIPTION:The Holiday Designers’ Showcase at the Kaminski House Museum will open on Monday\, November 6th and run through Saturday\, December 30th. Come see the rooms of the Kaminski House decked out in all the sparkle and glitz of the holidays. The guided tours are offered at 11 am\, 1 and 3 pm. Tickets are $15 for Adults; $10 Seniors over 65; and children 6 – 17\, $10. Children under 5 are admitted free of charge.
