Harvest Moon Ice Cream Shop
A Front Street fixture since 1987, Harvest Moon Ice Cream Shop delights visitors with a wide range of smooth and sweet ice cream, both standard and special seasonal flavors. Hot dogs with all the fixings are on the menu, too, as well as fresh-brewed coffee. There’s some history at the shop, too, as it’s named after the USS Harvest Moon, a Union sidewheel steamer gunboat that sank when it hit a floating mine in Winyah Bay after the Civil War had ended.
