A Meeting Of The Macabre – Edgar Allan Poe & Anne Rice

October 31 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Enter into the lives and thoughts of literary legends, Edgar Allan Poe and Anne Rice.

Two professional actors share the challenges, disappointments, secrets, and inspirations of each author. The actors pierce your senses while dramatically reading passages from famous works.

This is an eat, drink, chat with friends, and listen to professional actors read stories and passages from the works of Edgar Allan Poe and Anne Rice.

You choose your experience, Southern Tea Service or The Hopsewee Wine Table Experience.

Built circa 1740, some 40 years before the American Revolutionary War, Hopsewee Plantation was one of the South’s major rice plantations. It’s also the birthplace of Thomas Lynch, Jr., one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.

This event will be over in plenty of time for you to experience the HALLOWEEN EVENING.

Choose Your Experience:

Southern Tea Service: Our traditional Hopsewee tea featuring a selection of savories, sweets, and freshly brewed tea.

The Hopsewee Wine Table Experience: Featuring a curated selection of wines served with a grazing board of artisan cheeses, cured meats, and seasonal accompaniments.
