Mark your calendar for Carolina Day at Francis Marion Park to Joseph Rainey Park overlooking the waterfront in the heart of downtown Georgetown for a ceremonial and educational program honoring the famous Battle of Fort Sullivan with a procession to Rainey Park, where the Charters of Freedom will be discussed. This special event is being hosted by Georgetown 250 as part of a week-long series of events to promote Georgetown County’s role in the American Revolution.
