Friends of the Georgetown Library October “Tuesdays With…”

October 17, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

The Friends of the Georgetown Library are pleased to announce our October Tuesdays With on October 17th at 10:00 am.  It will feature a presentation by Bob Raynor, author, naturalist, and researcher from Awendaw.  The title of his presentation will be “The Santee Delta: Waters & Voices,” based on his most recent book of the same title.  He will be taking us on an in-depth exploration of this area through a narrative including the storytelling of historical events and his experiences in this fascinating part of the Lowcountry region.

Due to the continuing construction at the Library, we will be meeting in the Winyah Auditorium at 1200 Highmarket Street (one block south of the Georgetown Library).

Please reserve the date on your calendar and plan to join us to learn more about the bountiful natural resources and complex history of the Santee Delta.

Information regarding upcoming presentations in the Tuesdays With… series can be found at https://www.thefogl.org/s-projects-basic
