Tour The Hopsewee Plantation
Built 40 years before the American Revolutionary War, the Hopsewee Plantation is full of rich history and culture. Hopsewee Plantation was one of the South’s major rice plantations and the birthplace of Thomas Lynch Jr., one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.
Embark on a 1-hour tour around the plantation and through the residence while learning all about the history of the plantation and those who resided. They also offer 30-minute Gullah-Geechee tours and sweetgrass basket weaving workshops!
Lunch At The Gator Grill
Formerly known as Castaway’s, The Gator Grill is the place to go for lunch, dinner, and drinks! Enjoy a great meal in the spacious dining room or bar area, or outside on the back deck with a beautiful view of Georgetown Harbor! They’re also located on Front Street and are open Monday through Friday from 11 am until 2 am, closed on Sundays.
Tee Off At Wedgefield Country Club
Head out for an afternoon on the course at Wedgefield Country Club. This course is known for showcasing the beautiful lowcountry. Whether you decide to play 9 or 18 holes, there’s no doubt you’ll have a great time! The club also has a swimming pool and tennis courts so the whole family can have something to do.
