You are cordially invited to the twenty-first annual Friends of the Georgetown Library YULETIDE HOME TOUR on Saturday, December 9th, from 1 – 5 pm.
Eleven beautiful residences in and around Georgetown’s Historic District will be decorated in holiday finery and opened for visiting. In addition, two venerable houses of worship will open their doors to tour participants as well as two outstanding Georgetown museums, the Gullah Museum and the Kaminski House Museum.
It’s a fun day for a good cause: supporting the Georgetown Library.
Tickets may be pre-purchased at any of the County Library branches: the Georgetown Library at the Howard Center, 1610 Hawkins Street; the Andrews Library, 105 N Morgan Street; the Carvers Bay Library, 13048 Choppee Road; the Southern Georgetown Library, 4187 Powell Road; and the Waccamaw Library, 41 St. Paul Place.
And for the first time this year pre-purchasing of tickets may be done online at the new Friends of the Georgetown Library website. Go to myfogl.org/projects, scroll down to “Yuletide Home Tour,” and click on “Buy tickets.”
And then tickets and tour information are to be picked up on December 9th any time after 10 am at the Prince George Winyah Anglican Church at 301 Screven Street, Georgetown (due to the ongoing renovations at the Library).
